Merry Christmas

To Celebrate Christmas Eve, Grandma invented her own version of "pin the tail on the donkey" involving Santa and some jingle balls. She got lots of amusement twirling everyone around blindfolded after lots of food and drinks. I decided to sleep this one out until next year.

Uncle Jason attempts to pin the jingle ball on Santa with his left hand.

new shoes, big surf and a fake tree

Brayden was the recipient of a very special gift. His first pair of handmade shoes made by Grandpa Jacks. He wears them proudly as he waits for mom and dad to take him for a walk to look at the big surf.

Grandma Judy tried to pawn off one of her fake trees on us. Luckily the top layer of embedded lights did not work so we happily returned it and purchased a real tree. ( Grandpa Stan was not so happy to see it come back into their house as it is one of many in storage underneath the stairs )

Crafty

With the arrival of baby Jacks quickly approaching, we are trying to wrap up all of our unfinished projects. Tony finished the day bed in the babies' room. How nice is it to be able to rip pages out of a Pottery Barn catalog and have it handmade for you ....only bettter?

Feeling inspired, I decided to become more proficient at sewing projects that require a pattern.
